As one of Persekutuan Soewito, Fajar dan Rekan (PSF) founder, prior to starting the Firm, Soewito has 3 years at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT). At the DGT, Soewito held various managerial position in which final position before retiring were being the Head of the Tax Office.

Wawan assumed his duties as Vice Managing Partner on 2017. Previously, he worked as an officer at the Indonesian Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) for nearly eight years, with his last position being in the Large Taxpayers Office Two (LTO 2).
