Throughout his career, Ichtiar has played an instrumental role in advancing Indonesia’s mineral downstreaming agenda. He was the initiator, concept developer, and executive board member in establishing the Asosiasi Perusahaan Industri Pengolahan dan Pemurnian Mineral Indonesia (AP3I) and contributed to founding the Asosiasi Copper Slag Indonesia (ACSI). Previously, Ichtiar served as Senior Manager of Strategic External Relations at one of Indonesia’s leading copper smelting companies, where he led government relations, managed corporate licensing, and oversaw regulatory compliance.
