Job Overview:
The Japanese Desk supports the company’s interactions with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders, offering translation and interpretation as needed and assisting with inquiries for Indonesian tax and business consulting services.
Responsibilities:
– Liaise between the company and Japanese-speaking clients.
– Provide Japanese-Indonesian/English translation and interpretation services as required for meetings, calls, and written materials.
– Assist Japanese clients with information on Indonesian tax regulations and business practices.
– Coordinate with internal teams to communicate client needs effectively.
– Help with the preparation of reports, documentation, and communication materials in Japanese as needed.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies, Business, or a related field.
– Proficiency in Japanese, with JLPT N2 or higher preferred.
– Prior experience in translation or client-facing roles is beneficial.
– Strong understanding of Indonesian and Japanese business cultural practices.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
